The Absa Cape Epic hits the halfway mark — and Stage 4 delivers world-class racing in Greyton. On a punchy 87km loop packed with singletrack, climbs, and technical descents, the men’s race came down to a thrilling sprint finish with Sam Gaze and Luca Schwarzbauer powering Team Canyon to victory Behind them, Wilier-Vittoria held onto the overall lead, while Toyota Specialized Imbuko fought hard to stay in contention. In the women’s race, it was all-out action from the gun. Kate Courtney and Greta Seiwald (She Sends Foundation) raced aggressively and timed their move to perfection, taking a huge stage win Race leaders Candice Lill and Alessandra Keller finished close behind to retain the orange jersey, while heartbreak struck for Rosa van Doorn and Vera Looser, whose race ended after a crash. With the Queen Stage looming, the battle for the Absa Cape Epic is far from over…
